Performance and Materials
The radar level transmitter consists of an antenna, a signal processing unit, and a housing. The antenna is encapsulated in materials such as stainless steel, PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), or ceramic, providing excellent corrosion resistance and temperature tolerance. Depending on the operating conditions, rod-type, horn-type, or flat-type antennas can be selected to accommodate corrosive media, high-temperature environments, and applications involving condensation or foaming. The signal processing unit incorporates built-in echo algorithms that identify true liquid surface echoes while suppressing interference signals caused by obstacles or agitators within the vessel. The product outputs level data via 4–20 mA analog signals, HART communication, or RS485 digital interfaces; select models support Bluetooth or remote configuration.
